Our People Operation team is a young and longstanding group of people who are responsible for running Seamless Housekeeping, from setting up and maintaining Housekeeping Management System to daily cleaning tasks. Housekeeping Management System is a platform that assigns cleaning tasks, gets room updates, and tracks cleaning quality.
Get to know the role
Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. You must be able to lift, pull and push a moderate weight, as well as communicate well with hoteliers and team members. This is a fast-paced position that will require you to work quickly and efficiently.
You will also assist the Operation Executive in setting up the Housekeeping Management System and scrutinising the cleaning checklist.

- Performance Bonus: Based on total number of rooms that have been cleaned;

The day to day activities
- Cleaning, dusting, polishing and vacuuming guest rooms as assigned, replacing required supplies and ensuring hotel’s established standards of cleanliness are met
- Changing linens, making beds, and leaving the bathroom sparkling
- Ensuring carts are stocked with cleaning and room supplies
- Completing daily section report as instructed by Operation Executive
- Notifying Operation Executive of maintenance issues or lost-and-found items
- Performing other necessary duties upon request
The must have

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

You enjoy working alongside with other teammates to achieve a high level of service standards that depict what our hotelier represents. Additionally, you are a great team member who listens empathetically to Housekeeping Attendant, and one who is motivated by challenges along the way.

The day to day activities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeping Attendant to ensure quality standards
- Manage Housekeeping Management System daily activities, such as run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of housekeeping with hoteliers
- Plan the housekeeping department work schedule and tasks, yet ensure sufficient staffing to support the daily operations
- Assist management in housekeeping training
- Perform other necessary duties upon request
The must have
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a in a similar role in hotel
- Must be well organized and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Require reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English & Bahasa languages
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and teamwork
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of service
- Proficiency, preferred, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Able to drive operational efficiencies and improvement where needed
- You are legally allowed to work in Malaysia, holding a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications)

The day to day activities
There are 3 key areas to cover:-
1. Sales Opportunities
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through online, cold calling, and networking;
- Presentation and system demonstration to clients and answer the inquiries;
- Identify business opportunities for revenue and demand growth and work with cross functional teams to execute initiatives/experiments;
- Optimize digital marketing channels and ads materials across digital placements such as Search and Social with agency to maintain online brand presence, drive new acquisition, retention, lead gen etc;
- Optimise current best practice and framework across hotels depending on current occupancy conditions.
2. Smart Receptionist
- In charge with all functions related to Smart Receptionist, from onboarding to support;
- Smart Receptionist activation: Assist client with setup processes including Property Management System set-up, payment set-up and troubleshooting;
- Smart Receptionist training: Develop training and find ways to scale the training and activation process of utilising the machine and system;
- Smart Receptionist support: Develop the support process for hoteliers, including providing basic support and acting as point of escalation.
3. Billing
- Review service agreement and schedule payments according to agreed timeline;
- Follow up with clients to ensure deposits and payments are collected timely;
- Send monthly billing reports and receipts to clients.
The must have
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent
- Min. of 1 year working experience in similar role
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, SEM, and other relevant digital marketing related platforms and tools
- Strong English and Bahasa proficiency with creative copywriting
- Detail oriented and time management skills.
